FAQ

I've never studied any kind of dance. Is the Beginning Ballet Class really for absolute beginners?

Yes! Whenever an absolute beginner joins the class we start from the beginning with the basics.  Although there are usually experienced dancers in the class, a review of the basics gives them an opportunity to focus on their bio-mechanics and perfect their technique.

What should I wear?

Anything you can move in; sweats, leggings, t-shirts, shorts, leotards and tights. If you don't want to purchase ballet slippers right away, you can dance in socks or bare feet.

What is the age range of the classes?

Adults from 18-75. The majority of the students are over 40.

Where should I park?

There is ample street parking on Panamint and Eagle Rock Blvd.. Sometimes parking on Sunday mornings at Live Arts L.A. can be scarce but parking spaces open up around 11:15am.

How do I pay for class?

Class cards can be purchased online or in person. Single classes can be purchased in person-with cash, check or Venmo.
